Yaxley Parish Council recently issued a survey to get resident opinions on having 20mph Zones within the village. In total we received 63 direct responses and 15 social media comments with a mix of arguments for and against.
The results of the survey were discussed by Members at the September meeting of Full Council. During this meeting members suggested reviving a Community Speed Watch group in the village. The streets identified as having problems with speeding by respondents in the public survey could be put forward as potential areas to carry out speed checks.
